Children's Ministry
We love our kids and are so excited for the opportunity to help teach them about our great God!

Each AWC Kids’ classroom is uniquely designed for a specific age group and provides a safe, secure, and engaging environment. Creative, fun activities are implemented to teach God’s great love for each child, and because the lessons are exciting and interesting, children want to come back week after week to learn more!
In every age group, the children are taught how to love God, love others, and live according to God’s Word.
Youth Ministry
Our youth ministry is designed specifically to connect high school students and young adults to Christ. We want to partner with parents in guiding students as they navigate through life and they learn to stand confident and strong.
Through intentional services with engaging worship and thought-provoking messages, we strive to create an environment where students feel welcomed and loved!
Women's Ministry (Dorcas)

The Women’s Ministry of AWC understands the unique roles and needs of women and offers individual ministries to help you balance the challenges of family, home, church, work and community.
The Women’s Ministry exists to provide opportunities where women can grow in their walk with Christ, cultivate meaningful relationships with other women, and fulfill the church's mission of connecting people to Christ. If you’re looking for a place to meet new friends, have fun and grow in your walk with the Lord, we have a place for you.
Men's Ministry

AWC provides an atmosphere of encouragement, fellowship, and accountability for men of all ages and backgrounds. Our goal is to be a strong group of Christian men who are able to strengthen each other through prayer, bible study, and guidance.

In order to grow as Christ it is vital for the Men of the church to grow in His likeness. This is accomplished by build relationships not only with Christ but other brethren through fellowship, personal testimonies, bible teaching, and support.
Embracing HOPE
​
Embracing HOPE ministry was founded for the purpose of reaching out to women in our church and community who are personally battling with the disease of cancer by providing encouragement, comfort, and support.
Furthermore, Embracing HOPE endeavors to also provide support to family members of those whom are battling cancer.

Prison Ministry
​
Prisoners behind bars, victims of crime, families torn apart by incarceration—all are loved by God and worthy of our attention. AWC believes that every person is made in the image of God, and that no one is beyond His reach. That means there is hope for restoration and healing for prisoners, their families, victims, and all those who have been impacted by crime.
​
Launched in 2015 by our Pastor, our prison ministry has already baptized more than 150 inmates at the Giles W Dalby Correctional Facility in Post, Texas.
